ROLE OF CLIENT PROJECT MANAGERS IN OFFSHORED APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS
Statement of Informed Consent:
SURVEY TOPIC: You are being asked to participate in a research study about how project managers manage relationships with their IT team and vendor firm in offshored application development projects. During the course of the survey, you will be asked to explain your perceptions regarding a recent offshore outsourced application development project that you managed.
CONFIDENTIALITY: You do not have to provide your name, the name of your employer, or any other identifying information. When the results of the research are published or discussed in conferences, no information will be included that would reveal your identity. Any information that is obtained in connection with this study and that can be identified with you will remain confidential and will be disclosed only with your permission or as required by law. No identifiable information, such as your IP address, will be collected from you during the completion of the survey. All survey responses will be stored in a secured server. Although it is impossible to completely guarantee that electronic data may not be intercepted during transmission or otherwise accessed by unauthorized personnel, such as Internet hackers, we expect such risk to be very minimal.
